People uses the present simple for
- facts & truths (절대적인 사실)
- habits & thing that do regularly (자주 하는 버릇 / 습관)
- permanent situations (계속되는 상황)
People uses the present continuous for
- things that are happening at the time we are speaking (말하는 순간 일어나는 상황)
- temporary situations (임시적인 상황, 평소에는 하지 않는 무엇인가를 할 때 표현)
- activities that are in progress (진행중인 활동 상태)
